In this series, I like to post the things I have enjoyed the most this week. It could be an item, a song, a playlist, could be anything. I publish one every Monday.
1. Theo’s Pizzeria
Lets start with some food 🙂 I have been meaning to check out this place for a few weeks now and finally got around to it this week. I was not disappointed on taste or price. For a Pizza, Potato Croquette and an Aperol Spritz, it came to £15! Nom! The dough on its own was amazing and the croquette was filled with mozzarella and potato. My kinda place! Theo’s can be found in Camberwell Church Street in Camberwell. Highly recommended!
2. 00s Music
Now this one is a bit of a throwback to my teens. I have been listening to a playlist called ‘Easy 00s’ on Spotify recently and it has everything from Craig David to early Rihanna and Oasis. Very nice to listen to while cooking or cleaning OR running as I found today (yes, I know this is meant to be last week but its relevant!). Check it out if you want.
3. Limbo
Some people may not know this about me, but I have recently become interested in gaming. Its not what you think! Puzzle games and story games are nice to chill out to with a glass of wine when you’ve had a tough day 🙂 (Sometimes with HIMYM on in the background!) Limbo is my latest interest. You start off as a boy running through the shadows and you don’t know your mission, only that you need to progress through the game. Along the way there are obstacles such as spiders and large spinning cogs. I haven’t finished this game yet, so this may be a premature love but I really am enjoying it. It is on sale on Steam so if you wanted to check it out, its only £1.39 at the moment!
4. Family Time in London
This weekend saw the 29th Wedding anniversary of my parents. To celebrate, they came up to London for a weekend away and it meant I got to spend some quality time with them 🙂 We didn’t have any specific plans, but ended up at the London Bridge City Festival and West End Live. Seeing the sights and spending time with them was really nice and I miss it since I moved away.
5. VX – Vegan Cafe in Kings Cross
Final mention on this weeks loves is a little out there. As I mentioned in my last post, I have been trying to eat Vegetarian for the past 3 weeks and its been going well. I saw this as an opportunity to venture out and try the Vegan Junk Food Cafe just down the road from my work place. I went with a colleague and we had some nuggets to share and I had a burger. I really liked this place. The food was incredible. Biting into that burger, I couldn’t believe it wasn’t meat! I am usually not a fan of that sort of thing but I will be going back here! VX is also the home for the Secret Society of Vegans – a clothing brand. If you are in the area, you should check it out! They also have a sister shop in Bristol.
And that’s it for this week 🙂
